We are currently seeking energetic individuals who have an interest in being Swimming Instructors.


You will provide instruction and education in swimming, water safety and survival skills to participants in a variety of aquatic programs run at Banyule Leisure sites.

**You will have: - A love of delivering high quality safe and effective
Learn to Swim and
Water Safety Programs to children and adults

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation is required in dealings with participants, parents and residents
  • Sound liaison skills are required in dealings with aquatic facility staff, Council staff and management
  • Demonstrate commitment to our values
  • Available and capable of working weekends, weekdays, mornings and or evening shifts

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR (essential)
  • Current AustSwim Qualifications (essential)
  • Current Working with Children Check (essential)
  • Experience working within a Learn to Swim Program (desirable)
