    Job description:
  • The position contributes to the effective operations of the court by overseeing the provision of administrative support to the court and by providing expertise, leadership and direction to achieve effective client service to court users.

Hours per fortnight:

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

Duties:

  • Make a significant contribution to the performance and achievement of statewide and regional team objectives by providing direction and supervision to staff, including developing the skills through training and coaching.
  • Supervise the daytoday operations of the Registry including ensuring the accurate entry, storage and provision of data, assisting with forward planning of court listings and oversight of registry procedures.
  • Provide general information to court users on the practice and procedures within all Divisions of the Magistrates Court
  • Undertake special projects involving research, evaluation and formulation of information and provide administrative support as required.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Postsecondary or tertiary level qualifications in administration or management.
