The Financial Performance and Property team sits within our Finance Division. Within this, the Properties team is responsible for the operational and strategic functions associated with our physical premises.

The role of the team includes:
Enterprise Property Strategy
Design and Accessibility
Project Delivery
Facilities Management
Leasing
Mailroom services

About the role


Reporting to the Head of Group Properties, as the Property Operations Manager you will ensure the efficient and effective day to day physical operation of Corporate office and Branch sites.


This includes:


Arranging and managing preventative and reactive maintenance via our external partner (JLL) and also directly for work not included in JLL scope.

You will be the main contact point for JLL who manage our mail services, office services and facilities management.
Manage property related projects within corporate sites including cosmetic upgrades, minor or major fit-out works or other
Support with Climate Action/ESG initiatives, Business Continuity / Major Incidents relating to Bank property
Reporting and SLA / KPI monitoring

In addition, you will manage and lead property staff including reception and concierge / security contractors.


This is a full time permanent position which can be based in either Bendigo, Adelaide or Melbourne for the days that you're in the office, noting that hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.

About you

High level of property services, facilities and contractor management skills
Complete knowledge of building related legislation, regulations and standards
Property project management experience
Good knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety policies
Excellent time management skills, including ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Good relationship management and customer service skills
Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
Good people leader skills
