We are currently seeking a
Building Capacity Assessor based in Victoria (location flexible due to multiple sites around Vic state)


Reporting to the Team Leader for Building Assessments, the Building Capacity Assessor's primary purpose will be to conduct capacity assessments of sites where Telstra job requests propose communication equipment growth and or upgrades.

You will assist our Clients, Telstra Technology Planners/Telstra Network Facility Planners in identifying sites where HVAC asset upgrades are required.

This is an
initial 3 month Fixed-Term role available ASAP.

What you will be doing:

  • Communication, coordination and conducting investigations in cooperation with Telstra's Network Facility Planners within Telstra Property Group.
  • Ensuring all scheduled or one off tasks are carried out on time effectively and efficiently to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Providing appropriate input to Ventias maintenance management system.
  • HVAC Capacity assessments of sites where Telstra job requests propose Communication Equipment installs and upgrades.
  • To assist Telstra Technology Planners and Growth Planners in identifying sites where HVAC upgrades are required.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections of client sites to validate nominal KWr rating of as installed HVAV plant as well as all necessary asset data in order to maintain HVAC asset data integrity in the NFP database at all times.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or other equivalent field
- preferably in HVAC Services in Support of Telecommunication Facilities and Equipment

  • In depth knowledge of HVAC system designs and installations in Commercial and, preferably, Telecommunications type buildings.
  • Working knowledge of Airconditioning plant in a Servicing, Marine Engineering, or Maintenance role would also be considered.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all decision levels
