About you


You will provide support, leadership, management and governance to the nursing and ancillary teams while working with our VMO community to provide amazing care for our patients.

You will use your advanced skills and knowledge to support staff and surgeons in the smooth running of lists with a focus on patient safety and best outcomes.

You will have good leadership skills and an understanding of procurement and human resource principles.

You will work in accordance with the mission and vison of Calvary and actively participate in a culture that promotes Calvary's values.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and management for the Day Theatre Suite Team

Governance of practice in adherence to relevant standards, guidelines and policy

Resource management including procurement and human resources

Participate and contribute to the Procedural Areas Leadership Team

What you bring

Demonstrated skills and knowledge in leadership roles

Sound understanding of clinical standards, including upholding ACORN, Australian and ANZCA standards and local policies and procedures

Accountable for own standards of practice and providing support and ongoing education to junior staff

Experience and or an understanding of Human Resource Principles

Experience in Leadership of teams through times of change

Experience in procurement principles

Dedicated to best practice and best patient outcomes
