Health and Safety Professional in
Port Kembla NSW.
Guiding our frontline management teams, you will coach, develop, and support our manufacturing business to achieve its health and safety requirements, as well as working on exciting innovation projects to support our teams now and into the future.
In this dynamic role, where no day is the same, you will be exposed to a variety of different risk profiles - providing you with the opportunity to enhance and grow your expertise.
Working as part of a large national safety team you will have the opportunity to be part of an organisation who is always focussed on ensuring we are up to date with new methods and advancements in Health and Wellbeing, Safety & Environment.

What Will You Do?
Working with our leadership teams across manufacturing, you will:
- support and drive quarterly critical risk reviews
- monitor the effectiveness of Health and Safety systems and governance processes to manage risk and legal requirements
- deliver advice to our business leaders, thinking beyond the quick fix, to promote continual improvement in the engagement of people and management of risk
- support incident investigations and use those learnings to improve controls
- build health and safety leadership capability within the business units
More About You
With your ability to engage, influence and communicate meaningfully with our people, you will bring:
- minimum Certificate IV OHS qualification (or working towards qualifications)
- the ability to promote and inspire innovation and change
- experience in incident investigation
- the ability to work autonomously and balance day-to-day tasks with longer-term strategic projects
