Job Description

Our New Plymouthfacility is looking for an experiencedPhased Array Inspector to join our talented NDT & Materials Engineering team.

Our client base is extensive, and we operate in all major industrial groups from dairy, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper process plants through to constructions, building and light engineering.

Reporting to the Operational Manager, the primary responsibility of the Inspectors role is to carry out PAUT, general NDT and welding inspections in accordance with relevant codes and standards to ensure our client requirements are met. This can be testing on a variety of products and components covering; metals, plastics, construction and building materials. The Inspector also provides consultancy services to assist our clients with their technical challenges and maintenance.

Qualifications

If you have the below qualities, we are interested to hear from you:

  • ISO 9712 Phased Array certification is essential and minimum 2 otherLevel 2 certifications such as:MT, PT, ET, RT, UT, Coatings, Welding, API's, etc
  • Minimum 8 years practical work experience in NDT
  • Minimum 5 years in PAUT experience
  • Customer and client service focus.
  • A current driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites around NZ.
  • Able to use computers and technology.
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment.

This is a good opportunity to work with a team and interact with other specialists and clients.

This is a full time position - 40 hours per week.

The annual salary will be between $90k to $105k.
