About The Role


We are seeking
Trades Assistants in the
Little River region for an opportunity in proactive and reactive maintenance works in a new large complex facility.

This is a permanent full-time role from Monday - Friday. The hours are from 7.00am - 3.00pm at an hourly rate of $35.29.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Performing planned maintenance tasks and checks
  • Troubleshooting and basic repairs to a broad range of equipment, fixtures & facilities
  • Assist in managing & maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Operate plant equipment where qualified and licensed.
  • Perform manual tasks associated with maintenance and construction as required, including safe working duties.
  • Certify plant and equipment as serviceable and fit for purpose, within the scope of trade qualifications on a daily basis.

About You:


You will have experience as a Trades Assistant working in a time critical environment with a focus on reactive maintenance.


You will also possess:

  • Experience in technical related work, preferably part qualified in a Certificate of trade Proficiency, relevant to the trade environment.
  • Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans
  • Competence in a team environment
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in your work
  • A current unrestricted drivers' licence
  • Be able to complete and pass a National Police Check, Medical and Working with Children
  • Be able to give evidence of full covid vaccinations
