C&K Waterford Community Kindergarten is a community based not-for-profit Kindergarten. The Centre is a single unit Kindergarten that caters for up to 24 children. Our Centre is now looking for a
Director /Teacher who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years and will contribute to a team that values open communication and sees children as competent and capable learners.


Our C&K Waterford Community Kindergarten is proud of its large, natural outdoor spaces for children and educators to learn and explore together.

Our teaching team tailor each day's learning taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and time spent discovering the outdoors.


You will be working on a
Fixed Term Part Term basis (until the end of 2023) every
Thursday, Friday and Alternate Wednesday (37.5 hours per week).

Joining our Family
You will be a self-starter, love your community and possess a creative vision. Must be committed to continuous improvement, through a collaborative approach with colleagues, community, families, and children. Previous Director Teacher experience is desirable but not essential.

An approachable leader amongst your community of families, children, and employees; with a hands-on approach in managing the service operationally.


You will need to hold

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification).
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
  • Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • A Police Check current within 3 months or willing to obtain one
  • All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which include a police check and, as a condition of employment, all employees are required to have 1st and 2nd COVID Vaccinations._
