Your Impact

Due to a recent internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Raw Materials Specialist to join our central materials team in Melbourne. You will be supporting our materials planning team who are responsible for the management of raw materials across our national manufacturing network. Additionally, you will maintain regular rhythms and routines with suppliers, and support site-based teams to ensure delivery of materials in full and on time.

Note - This is a fixed term contract for 12-months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor requirements for designated portfolio of materials and suppliers to ensure availability for our production sites.
  • Review day to day materials outlook, identify risks and present options for mitigation alongside site scheduling teams.
  • Work closely with procurement to mitigate long-term risks to production plan.
  • Proactively communicate risks to key stakeholders.
  • Be the key contact for suppliers and planning teams for operational discussions.

About You

  • Ideally similar experience within FMCG or similar fast paced manufacturing industry.
  • Graduate in Supply Chain or Logistics discipline advantageous but not required.
  • Solid understanding of MRP.
  • Sound stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and change management skills.
