    The Company:
Our client is a world-renowned retail brand with a strong presence within the APAC region and ANZ market. They harbour a fantastic working culture, with many of their finance team working there long term.

They are currently entering a busy period and seeking an additional team member to join their internal controls team on a temporary basis.


The Role:

As the Internal Controls Specialist, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Partnering with business unit leaders to understand processes and document them
  • Identifying risks in current processes and controls in place
  • Perform effectiveness testing on controls
  • Identifying and assessing control deficiencies
  • Planning and recommending action plans to be implemented

Your Background:

To become a valued member of the team, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Available to work from the first week of January
  • Previous experience as an Internal Auditor / External Auditor working closely on testing and controls
  • Strong communication skills confident dealing with finance and nonfinance
  • A problemsolving mindset
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional qualifications are highly regarded
  • Prior experience with the retail industry (either working within or auditing) is highly regarded, but not essential
