Job description:

2XM Recruit are a leading National Provider of Recruitment & Labour Hire Services with over 10 years' experience supplying highly qualified Technical Engineering & Blue-Collar personnel to the Mining, Rail, Engineering & Construction industries across Australia.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Boilermaker to join the team at a Conveying Fabrication Specialist.

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the fabrication and repair of various types of equipment, including conveyors, hoppers, and chutes.


Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and repair equipment using various tools and equipment, including welding equipment, plasma cutters, and grinders.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to ensure equipment is fabricated to the correct specifications.
  • Work with a team of skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent.
  • Experience in the fabrication and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of welding equipment, plasma cutters, and grinders.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The Reward

  • Payrate: $50p/h with Overtime
  • Available to start immediately
  • Monday to Friday with some weekends
  • Workshop based role
