About the role


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to join our External Engagement team in the role of part-time Fundraising and Alumni Relations Officer, working three (3) days per week, for a temporary period up to 12 months.

Reporting to the External Engagement Manager and working within a friendly and professional team, you will:

  • Contribute to fundraising campaigns and manage donor relations;
  • Manage the alumni relations program;
  • Undertake the role of assistant editor for the College's newsletter publication, Moore Matters; and
  • Support external engagement activities.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, including a proven ability to develop and nurture relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and editing engaging content, including promotional material, for online, print and social media
  • Tertiary qualification/s, ideally in Communications, Marketing, Engagement, Fundraising or another relevant discipline
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise tasks
  • Current NSW driver licence
  • Ability to support and promote the Christian mission and vision of Moore College

It is
desirable that you also have:

  • Experience in fundraising, events and/or the not-for-profit sector
  • Public speaking skills and experience
  • Understanding of the Sydney Anglican diocese
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Completed some study at Moore Theological College or a similar institution
