About the role:
We are looking for a
Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in
Kooragang Island, NSW, on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Facility Maintenance Technician is accountable for completing weekly scheduled tasks and is involved with keeping plant essential services operational.
Tasks range from a variety of areas, from yard, road, fence, and building maintenance activities to escorting contractors conducting specialized maintenance and inspections, assisting the Engineering Department by providing support services to conduct inspections, etc.
What you will be doing:
As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will have experience in facility maintenance activities.
Your main duties will be to:
- Ensure that safety, health, and environmental procedures are adhered to by all team members.
- Support a work environment that encourages individuals to be selfmotivated.
- Identify risks to current (and foreseeable) compliance and deliver proposals to ensure compliance.
- Identify areas for improvement and costreduction initiatives.
What you will bring:
- Knowledge and experience working in industrial plants.
- Permit to Work Experience.
- A highrisk license is desirable.
- Trade skills are desirable but optional.
- Possess an unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values, and solid character.
- Respects company values and a good safety ethic.
