ABOUT THE ROLE
- Melbourne CBD focused territory
- Manage the ophthalmic surgical portfolio
- Combine clinical knowledge and business acumen, and implement strategic territory plans to achieve business goals
- Collaborate and build partnerships while providing technical and clinical/ surgical support in the operating theatre
- Offer solutions based on competitor analysis and market trends
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to achieve organisational objectives
- Travel requirements as business needs arise
ABOUT YOU
- Proven track record of sales success, preferably in surgical ophthalmic devices, other medical devices, or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience working in the operating theatre environment, proficient in engaging with surgeons and other key hospital staff
- Strong understanding of selling within the Australian hospital landscape. essential
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Thrives on challenges, with a proactive and tenacious attitude in solving problems and achieving success
- Strong selfmotivation and competitive nature, with a hunter mentality, driven to secure new business
