ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Melbourne CBD focused territory
  • Manage the ophthalmic surgical portfolio
  • Combine clinical knowledge and business acumen, and implement strategic territory plans to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate and build partnerships while providing technical and clinical/ surgical support in the operating theatre
  • Offer solutions based on competitor analysis and market trends
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to achieve organisational objectives
  • Travel requirements as business needs arise

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven track record of sales success, preferably in surgical ophthalmic devices, other medical devices, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience working in the operating theatre environment, proficient in engaging with surgeons and other key hospital staff
  • Strong understanding of selling within the Australian hospital landscape. essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Thrives on challenges, with a proactive and tenacious attitude in solving problems and achieving success
  • Strong selfmotivation and competitive nature, with a hunter mentality, driven to secure new business
