About the role


The Learning Officer, in collaboration with the Learning & Development team, develops engaging learning resources as part of the Standards Australia Academy for our internal and external customers.

This includes contributing to the design and development of the content and coordinating and managing various aspects of the learning process.


What you'll do

  • Design engaging onbrand learning material that will appeal to various industry sector stakeholders (Including marketing, EDMs, slide decks, learner booklets and facilitator guides, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Team
  • Coordination & reporting of enrolment, attendance & assessment data
  • Maintaining the training calendar, updating as needed, online & on Academy (Litmos LMS)
  • Design & distribute marketing material
  • Create forms, surveys and other tools as needed
  • Communicating with customers, managing their training requests & feedback
  • Draft responses and correspondence as required for internal and external purposes
  • Ensure effective collaboration with other SA functional groups promoting alignment with communications & systems
  • Develop effective and cooperative relationships with organisational manager
  • Contribute towards and support the coordination of various projects

About you

  • Qualification in a related field or 2+ yrs. equivalent work experience
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Litmos preferred
  • Strong listening skills, clarifying and probes for understanding
  • Receptive to feedback and continual improvement
  • Willing to learn and keep up with new design technology
