MARS are proudly partnering with an established, renowned, and award-winning Education provider that are looking to hire a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. They boast a collaborative team environment and pride themselves on their supportive and progressive culture.

The Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, balance, and reconcile PAYG tax.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to over 2,000 employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure payroll processes comply with updated payroll and tax legislation.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly to pay inquiries.

The Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient with payroll systems such as iChris or Chris21.
  • Strong understanding of Industrial Awards.
  • Knowledge of PAYG, FBT, and payroll tax.

To Note:

  • Flex WFH - 3 days on site, 2 from home.
  • Must be available to start immediately.
  • 2-3-month contract.
  • North Sydney based.
