The Role:


The Cardiac Technician / Cardiac Physiologist is responsible for providing a high quality service in physiological monitoring and interpretation during procedures and/or pacemaker testing, within the guidelines and policies, and within the framework of the Mission and Values of Cabrini Health.


Requirements of the role:

  • Cardiac Technicians Certificate (Mayfield or its equivalent) or appropriate tertiary degree
  • Member of review at Professional Affiliates (CSANZ, ACTIV, ASE, ASA, ASUM)
  • Maintain effective communication channels with staff, ensuring that pertinent information is handed on
  • Participation in the provision of an efficient, effective, professional cardiac service, ensuring the delivery of high quality, compassionate, competent care
  • Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a broader team
About you

You will have:

  • Have experience, are competent in performing ECG's
  • Tertiary qualified in Science degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with quality and customer focus.
  • Welldeveloped communication skills.
