The Role

  • Reporting to the GM Safety and Assurance this role will focus on providing support to the Sydney Light Rail Team. With a focus on environmental your scope will include responding to key stakeholder enquiries, working closely with regulatory bodies and supporting the business with improvement initiatives. In addition, you will contribute to our current and future sustainability management strategies (ie waste management, solar usage, noise mitigation strategies). There will also be the opportunity to coordinate the deliverables relating to our ISCA (Infrastructure Sustainability Council) accreditation.

What you bring

  • In addition to tertiary qualifications (environmental science / management or related), a flexible approach to meeting the demands of a dynamic business within the public transport sector will be a key to your success. Given the nature of the role a willingness to get out on the network and interact with internal and extremal stakeholders is a must. Whilst not essential exposure to the Rail Industry, Road / Construction is highly regarded as well as Infrastructure Sector Accredited Professional (ISAP) or other accreditation program experience.
