About the opportunity

We are currently in search of a dedicated Carer to join our compassionate Care team at our Moran Roxburgh Park facility, situated in a beautiful area between green parkland and a serene lake.

Shift Schedule: We have various shifts available - morning, afternoon, and night.

As a Carer, you will report to the Registered Nurse in Charge and deliver top-notch care and support to our residents. Our facility provides round-the-clock nursing coverage, ensuring carers have constant clinical guidance and support.

You will receive guidance and support to help you excel in your position. Joining a team of dedicated individuals, your efforts will significantly impact our residents' daily lives. Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include offering high-quality essential care, personal assistance, and emotional support to residents in line with their individual care plans. You will work as part of the night shift team, assisting with overnight resident care and preparations for the next day.

  • Maintain effective workplace communication, displaying respect, adaptability, and kindness in all interactions.
  • Accurately and promptly complete documentation and communicate information to the relevant healthcare and management personnel as needed.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional care and service.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and support colleagues.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Valid work visa.
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Up-to-date Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster.
  • Highly organized with excellent planning abilities.
