About the role

  • The purpose of the Safety and Quality Clinical Informatics Analyst is to provide specialist clinical analytical and reporting services to support Service Improvement, Performance Improvement and Quality Management at all levels within the organisation.
  • The role is a direct support to Management, Service Line Leads, Safety and Quality Coordinators and clinical areas in the collection, analysis and reporting of data to enable effective decision making.
  • The position is also responsible for supporting change management systems through maintenance, monitoring and reporting of actions and recommendations throughout all levels of the organisation.
About you

  • Demonstrated experience in dashboard development, with the ability to utilise business intelligence tools and methodologies to model, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards. BI Tools include, but are not limited to, Power BI, Crystal Reports, Excel, SQL and QHERS.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis of performance data, and the investigation of complex issues and outcomes (including quantitative and qualitative data analysis).
  • Ability to problem solve in partnership with clinical areas to identify, interpret and analyse safety and quality data for service improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, achieve results within deadlines, work autonomously and work in a highly functional outcome focused team.
  • High level communication skills including effective interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate, engage, negotiate and conciliate with all staff.
  • High level data presentation and visualisation skills.
  • Proactively identify and rectify reporting gaps.
