IT Asset and Access Manager
to join us on a 12 month contract to lead upliftment of our IT asset management which includes application, service, infrastructure, and data portfolio.
This is a brand-new, first-of-its-kind role at Pepperstone, in which you will focus on establishing and managing our IT Asset Management and IT Access Management functions.
You'll be responsible for the lifecycle of various application, service, and infrastructure components, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating with other departments to ensure the asset database is current and that the software meets business requirements.
You'll also be working alongside our IT support and Security functions to develop, maintain and embed rigorous access management practices across out global footprint.
To thrive in this role, you will be focused on getting things done. You should have solid experience supporting asset management software. This includes handling different types of software, whether they're cloud-based, on-premises, or a mix of both. It's a plus if you're familiar with using the Jira toolset.Your key responsibilities include:
Developing, maintaining and embedding the process of asset management across its full lifecycle - selection, procurement, onboarding, integration, support, updating, patching, archiving, and offboarding.
Developing and continuously updating a register of assets in use, tracking multiple parameters (including risk assessment based on the recorded parameters).Supporting access management and access review process including the end to end management of User Access Provisioning, Access Control Policies, User Access Reviews, Access Requests and Approvals, management of IAM Systems and ensuring compliance and active engagement in security and incident management processes.
Monitoring billing and aid in the payment process to ensure smooth financial operations.Collaborating with various business departments to identify and procure the best assets for business needs.
Fostering effective working relationships with software suppliers and internal departments (security, IT support, cloud engineering) to ensure high-quality and secure services and systems.
Identifying functionality improvements in business assets that will improve staff's ability to do their job including any required business case, trial or assessment to validate potential value.
About You:
2 + years experience Previous experience in a asset and access management, business application support or a similar role.
Proficiency in database management and data analytics.
Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworksUnderstanding of IT budgeting and cost management.
Experience with software licensing lifecycle.
Experience with IT access management protocols and related security standards.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical users.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance regulations would be a plus.
