The Company


Highly reputable Not-for-Profit business based in North Ryde who provide end to end wellbeing support services to the community are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team.

This is a 6 month contract with permanent opportunities available.

The Position

Manage a backlog of HR cases requiring urgent attention, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with relevant policies and procedures;
Act as a trusted HR advisor to managers, providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary actions, and other HR-related issues;
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives;
Conduct investigations and risk assessments as required, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees;
Assist in the development and delivery of HR policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive and inclusive work environment;
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations; and


Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR best practices, enabling them to effectively manage their teams and drive performance.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role;
Relevant tertiary qualifications;
Solid knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices;
Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation;
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity;
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively; and

HR-related qualifications and certifications will be highly regarded.
