We are looking for an Officer - HSE Systems to provide technical advice and support on the creation and maintenance of site licensing and emergency preparedness document requirements for workplaces which contain Dangerous Goods across the Corporation.

You will support the delivery of our hazardous materials program as an integral part of our Dangerous Goods network.

You'll be based in Leederville. It's a lively suburb, 5 minutes from Perth's CBD. There's plenty of places to eat and hang out, and you're only 5-minutes away from the nearest train station - An easy commute when you're heading into the office

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dangerous goods documentation.
  • Coordinate verification of license submissions via accredited consultant.
  • Create cost centres/internal order numbers and coordinate annual licence payments, including purchase card reconciliations.
  • Provide dangerous goods, poisons permit and compliance systems operational support to listed key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain Emergency Reponses Plans and Emergency Services Manifests.

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally you will have a qualification in Work Health and Safety or considerable experience as a Health and Safety representative in a large multidiscipline organisation.
  • Relevant experience supporting Dangerous Goods compliance management in a large multidiscipline organisation.
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Storage and Handling and Dept. of Health (Poisons) legislation.
