Role Description/Criteria

The Role:

  • We are looking for a full time Teacher to join our team, based at the Geelong campus.
  • You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing ASAP, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.

You will need:

  • Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty.
  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Identify as a person of Indigenous heritage or have strong relationships, background, knowledge and understanding of Indigenous people and cultures
  • Have respect and passion for the importance of education with a knowledge of schools in Indigenous communities and the challenges relating to transition to Pathway Schools
  • Have a commitment to social justice, social inclusion, and reconciliation to improve outcomes for Indigenous people and communities.
  • Demonstrated high levels of ability in developing and implementing a range of flexible learning choices which meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of young people disenfranchised from education.
