Hours/Days:

  • 30.4 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday

About the role:

  • Lead, mentor and develop hospitality staff to deliver quality kitchen, laundry and cleaning services within the aged care facility.
  • Plan and oversee the preparation of all meals (complying with residents' dietary requirements), as well as the coordination of cleaning and laundry services.
  • Ensure all work practices meet HACCP requirements and other relevant standards, and complete associated documentation.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including responding to information received from Food Safety authorities.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or aged care sector (desirable)
  • A focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality, or a relevant Certificate IV qualification (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Quality and Food Safety Standards.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and devices including Microsoft Office.
  • Current C-Class driver's licence.
