The role


An exciting opportunity exists for an allied health professional or oncology nurse to take on a unique role as the Cabrini Cancer Exercise and Wellness Coordinator.

The Cancer Exercise and Wellness Coordinator role is responsible for building and overseeing our education, exercise and wellness multidisciplinary programs in the Cabrini Cancer Exercise and Wellness Centre.


This is a professional leadership role that will concentrate on key stakeholder engagement and grow our Cancer programs through productive and collaborative relationships with our Oncologists, Cabrini cancers services and marketing team.

The Cancer Exercise and Wellness Coordinator may also be involved in programs including, but not limited to, delivering education, screening oncology patients or covering the components of the outpatient program.


Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of highquality, evidencebased rehabilitation and wellness programs for specific cancer streams.
  • Develop cancer streamspecific content and work with a multidisciplinary team to design innovative new programs and services.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to grow our Cancer programs through productive and collaborative relationships.

About you:


We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic allied health clinician or oncology nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality cancer services in line with our Cabrini mission and values.


You will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health Profession or Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of projects within cancer/exercise domain
  • A good understanding of the patient and family cancer healthcare journey
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, problemsolving, coordination and organisational skills
  • Project management skills, with the ability to think strategically
