About Hotel Linen Services


Based in Reservoir, HLS is a young, fast growing commercial laundry that solely services the linen and laundry needs of Victoria's accommodation industry.

We are a family-owned business, that has an unwavering focus on keeping things fun, friendly and fair for our entire team


Entering a busy time of year and an intake of new hotels, we are looking for new members to join our growing team on a casual basis (approximately 20-30 hours per week).

We are a Monday-Saturday business, with 5-8 hour shifts available between 9am-6pm.

  • There will be flexibility in shift times and we will do our best to provide the hours you are looking for (provided you have good availability during the week).
  • Our rosters are released approximately three weeks in advance which allows you more time to plan your life outside of work.

About You

  • You are someone who enjoys being active and working on your feet. Because of this, a bit of physical work doesn't bother you
  • Work that involves some repetition is what you are looking for because it allows you to get into a daily rhythm and develop a routine. This means that there are clear expectations on what you want need to achieve each day to ensure you can be as efficient as possible.
  • Whilst you have the ability to work autonomously, you value working as part of a team. You enjoy working towards team goals and take the time to assist anyone who needs a helping hand.

About the Role
Working closely with our supervisors, and other members of staff you will get exposure across our different departments and add significant value by:

  • Sorting and correctly arranging linen that arrives to the plant.
  • Learning how to operate the different plant machinery involved in the washing and finishing process.
  • Quality checking to identify any linen that is damaged or needs to be rewashed.
  • Folding and preparing linen ready for dispatch back to our customers.
  • Helping to maintain the highest standard of linen quality, plant cleanliness, and safety
