The essential requirements for this role are:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the intelligence discipline on matters which affect the supervision of offenders on community-based orders
  • Experience in a criminal justice environment or similar human services/regulatory agency
  • Experience working with sensitive information will be highly regarded
  • Superior capability in the use of information management systems will be highly regarded
  • Ability to investigate matters and conduct research and knowledge of the principles of crime scene management
  • Knowledge of intelligence processes and products
  • Preparation of complex reports and submissions
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good interviewing techniques
Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements

  • Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications for this position, nationally recognised training or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field would be highly desirable. The incumbent may be required to travel on official business; therefore, the possession of a valid C class licence is required.
The commencement date will be 3 June 2024.

A suitability pool may be created and utilised for recurring vacancies within the region for a period of up to 12 months.
