This business are a WA owned and operated subcontractor who have been a key part of delivering a range of major projects across the state Their business has multiple divisions, this Contracts Manager position would sit within their 'commercial construction' division which is responsible for delivering a range of tier one projects in Perth as a subcontractor.


They have an impressive portfolio of work which has made them a sought-after brand in the subcontractor space, they have a sophisticated set up with a great business structure meaning you will be set up for success from the start.


Reporting into the Group General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction team including business development through to estimating, procurement and project delivery.


The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Own, manage and oversee site based activities.
  • Deliver concurrent projects up to $8m in value, with clients in the tier 1, 2 and 3 construction sector.
  • Manage a team of Supervisors, Project Managers and Administration staff.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, builders, subcontractors, suppliers, builder architects and developers.
  • Provide strategic direction on appropriate projects to target after carefully considered risk assessments.
  • Lead the team to complete all projects on time, in budget and in accordance with the contract.
  • Review, measure and take accountability for department profitability in all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Work cohesively alongside the Contracts Manager and General Manager.
