Ready to jump into a role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring our fleet is always good to go? As a key member of our team, you'll offer crucial structural engineering support for our aircraft based in Horn Island. Your tasks will cover sheet metal work, composites handling, and implementing measures to prevent corrosion. But that's not the end of it – you'll also help with modifications and keeping both the interior and exterior of our aircraft in top shape. In this position, you won't just observe; you'll collaborate closely with our engineering squad, providing your know-how and assistance whenever necessary. While your main hub might be at Horn Island, be ready for occasional trips to other Babcock locations. This might involve utilizing your skills on various fleet aircraft, ensuring their safety and functionality no matter where they're stationed. Are you prepared to take on an essential and dynamic role, teaming up with Babcock's expert aviation professionals to guarantee our fleet runs smoothly and our aircraft stay in prime condition to carry out their missions effectively.
- Offer structures support for the Horn Island fleet including:
- Sheet metal
- Composites
- Corrosion prevention
- Modifications
- Preservation of the fleet's interior/exterior
- Support Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers
- Prepare and maintain safe working areas, following safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for all
- Equipment Maintenance
- Effective communication with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders
You're a skilled aviation structures engineer, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise.
