Alliance Airlines is experiencing significant growth, and as we continue to expand our operations, we are actively seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager. This role is integral to our growth strategy as we aim to attract top talent and build a high-performing team to support our expanding fleet and operations.

The Opportunity

In this newly created role as Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our talent acquisition strategy and leading our dynamic team of recruitment professionals. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment function, including developing and implementing strategic initiatives. This specialist role within the broader HR function collaborates with all business units to support and provide recruitment services, ensuring we have the right talent in place to support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for but not limited to:

  • End-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Manage, mentor, and guide the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment leading practices.
  • Develop recruitment metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate the efficiency and success of the recruitment strategy.
  • Partner with executives and senior managers to provide expert recruitment and resource planning support.
  • Develop succession planning strategies that proactively align with the company's expansion goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, professional associations, and industry networks to source top-tier candidates.
  • Management of all recruitment costs, including advertising and agency spend.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition specialist role, including Internal/ In-House recruitment (minimum 5 years)
  • Exposure to recruitment cost management strategies
  • Prior experience managing direct reports
  • Extensive experience utilising recruitment and selection tools, including psychometric testing, video interviewing, online screening and assessment centres.
  • In depth understanding of recruitment platforms
  • A practical approach with a can do attitude
  • Aviation experience (desired but not essential)

Alliance is a leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1300 staff.

The Company provides essential services to mining, energy, and government sectors as well as wet lease services for other airlines.

Alliance is unique in that it owns its whole fleet. Currently that fleet consists of 73 aircraft and is rapidly increasing over 100 aircraft in the near future.
