Overview


We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our friendly team at Port Pirie Hospital as an Orderly.

In this role you will provide a range of duties encompassing patient care, cleaning, transporting, using correct methods, clients, food trolleys, materials and equipment which contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the health unit

The Orderly assists medical and nursing staff in the care of clients as required, including transportation of the deceased.

This position involves working various shifts per fortnight, and will involve the handover keys, and mobile phone to the next rostered Orderly.

The Orderly is also required to operate cleaning machines as necessary as well as the use of a step stool/ladder.
