Due to internal movement, we have had an exciting permanent full time opportunity become available for a
Telecommunications Draftsperson (also known within our business as a Drawing Systems Officer).

About the role:

Using QLD Rails drafting standards, you will be responsible for the production, validation, and publication of drawings and designs, specific to telecommunications engineering requirements.

There will also be an opportunity to support our Operational Systems Engineering team providing a learning opportunity in this area and variety within the role.

At a minimum we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the below skills and experience:
At a minimum an Australian issued/skills assessed Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or similar business accepted qualification is preferred.

• AutoCAD and Microstation software experience.
• Strong problem solving skills ability to understand data and present solutions.
• Attention to detail is a must along with excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent PC skills across Microsoft Office suite.
• Self directed with ability to manage multiple deadlines.

AutoCAD experience specific to Telecommunications or Railway drafting would be advantageous.
