Our client is a National industry leader and Tier One Electrical Contractor providing their clients with exceptional electrical, telecommunications, security and fire services across the commercial, construction and industrial sectors.- As the company continues to experience steady growth and with a pipeline of exciting new projects ahead, they are currently seeking a Junior BIM / Cadet to join their team. The role will be based in their large, modern QLD Head Office in Brisbane's Southern suburbs.
- This exciting new career opportunity will see you join a highly experienced engineering team contributing to the design of large scale, landmark projects. The team is responsible for the delivering innovative and accurate electrical drafting solutions for a diverse range of infrastructure and building services projects.

**Electrical Draftsperson / Designer**

Working directly with the BIM Manager, this position will see you join a team of experts in their field.

The team is responsible for the delivering innovative and accurate electrical solutions for a diverse range of large scale infrastructure and building services projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Assist Engineering and Technical designers with project document issues
- Provide support to project site team.
- Liaise with site and project engineering teams in project design and documentation.
- Design/drafting activities: - Issuing documents, clash coordination with other services.
- Assist BIM Manager in office duties
- Document management of project including, revisions, updates and issues to client under supervision.
- Action mark ups from Site, project design and engineering teams.
- Provide documentation and construction support to site delivery team where necessary
- Assist project team in Coordinating with other services in respect to clashes, design and interoperability.
- Work under supervision of senior team members.

To be considered for this opportunity you will possess following skills and attributes:

- Certificate in CAD - **advantageous not required**:

- High school level education
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Competent in basic math (high school level).
- Ability to track project tasks, and deadlines. Skilled in multi-tasking
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
