Job Description

Reporting to the Group Head of Supply Planning, you will oversee the planning and scheduling of Blackmores' manufacturing operations in Braeside, Vic, and with our network of contract manufacturers. In this role, you will lead a team of up to 9 direct reports to ensure our supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and customer-centric. Your contribution will be pivotal in enhancing our supply chain efficiency and driving innovation in our production processes.

This position is available in either Melbourne (Braeside) or Sydney (Surry Hills or Warriewood).

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and empower the Supply Planning team, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Offer training and developmental opportunities to enhance team skills.
  • Drive the development of an optimized supply plan that meets customer demand while maximizing efficiency and minimizing expenses.
  • Oversee the implementation of a robust production plan that aligns with customer requirements and production capacity.
  • Foster strong relationships with various departments within Group Operations
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to boost operational efficiency and collaboration.
  • Maintain inventory levels in line with Inventory Policy and target stock turnovers, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in the planning system.
  • Champion continuous improvement projects to enhance planning quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct integration meetings in the IBP cycle to promote cross-functional alignment throughout Group Operations
  • Ensure supply plans are in harmony with overall business objectives.

Who are you?

  • You have extensive experience in FMCG Supply Planning, leading teams and coaching individuals
  • You have spearheaded business transformation initiatives and contributed significantly to enhancing IBP maturity, preferably with global exposure
  • Solid grasp of manufacturing processes
  • A proven influencer and adept at collaborating across functions
