Who You Are:

Our team is seeking an experienced and skilled YouTube Creative Director/Channel Manager who can lead multiple teams of Minecraft and YouTube specialised professionals through all stages of video production, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and by the deadline. You are someone the team looks up to, looks to for direction and trusts as a strong, passionate and knowledgeable leader.

Your Responsibilities and Skills

  • Organizational Management: Organizing, planning, and scheduling the workload for each video project to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Pipeline Supervision: Supervising the production pipeline to ensure efficiency and consistency in the video production process.
  • Feedback Provision: Providing valuable feedback and advice to team members to aid in reaching the overall/end goal for each video project.
  • Communication Liaison: Acting as a liaison between employees to provide clarification and remove ambiguity in project execution.
  • Idea Management: Organizing and scheduling ideas, soliciting feedback, and implementing feedback to enhance project development.
  • Title and Thumbnail Generation: Generating and selecting possible titles and thumbnails for video ideas to maximize engagement and appeal.
  • Objective and Vision Maintenance: Ensuring the core objective and vision for each video remains consistent throughout the entire production process.
  • Administrative Duties: Performing administrative duties such as responding to emails, writing documents, and providing administrative support to the CEO.
  • Document Creation: Creating comprehensive documents, presentations, reports, agendas, and responses to facilitate efficient project management and communication.

Requirements:

  • Organizational skills with the ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to provide feedback and facilitate clear communication between team members.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in video production processes.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks including email correspondence, document drafting, and presentation creation.
  • Knowledge of video production workflows and experience in coordinating project development.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard editing software and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience in generating creative ideas and titles to enhance video content.
  • Capability to maintain alignment with project objectives and vision throughout the production process.
  • Understanding of YouTube/Video Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, AVD in first 30 seconds, Impressions, etc) and their contribution to a successful and healthy channel.
  • Great communication and activeness.
  • Ability to understand feedback and act on it.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media and pop-culture trends.
  • Experience and understanding in YouTube ideation and successful YouTube videos.
  • Experience in the content creation pipeline and video production pipeline.
  • Experience and understanding in Minecraft video ideation, and Minecraft trends, topics, and the community.

Preferable Aditional Skills

  • Experience as a Producer
  • Experience with another YouTube Channel or video production company
  • Experience in Business Management or Human Resources
  • Full and in-depth understanding of vanilla and modded Minecraft
