What are we looking for?


We are currently seeking a talented and professional Junior Legal Assistant/Legal Assistant to join the Workers Compensation team in Sunshine.

This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, with flexible work arrangements in place.

  • Our clients who have sustained a workplace injury or contracted an illness at work, can be entitled to a range of benefits and compensation under the Workers Compensation Scheme. Our Lawyers in the Workers Compensation team, understand that suffering a workplace injury, can present major hurdles to overcome. They support our clients every step of the way with care, understanding, flexibility and support. Our Lawyers take care of the legal needs, so our clients can take care of their recovery._
Here you will help manage and support the busy practice with one of our experienced lawyers.

This opportunity is for someone who is keen to take ownership of their work and work hands on with matters.

During a typical day, you can be expected to:

  • assist lawyers with all administration and management of files
- prepare legal correspondence and court documents
- extensive diary management
- liaise with clients in an empathetic and professional manner

What will you bring?


To be successful in this role ideally you will had experience working in an administration, medical or legal role and you may have completed a Business Administration (or similar) certificate or diploma.

It would be great if you had experience in the following:

  • Experience in legal administration or a customer service facing role
  • Organised and proactive with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to confidently multitask and prioritise
  • A willingness and motivation to learn and develop in legal administration
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office and an ability to pick up new software packages quickly
  • A genuine passion and desire to work in a Plaintiff Law environment
  • Ability to work well with others and a keen willingness to learn
  • Are independently motivated and can show initiative
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong and open communication and approachable with others
