Workforce Planning Systems and Compliance Manager
The Star Entertainment is seeking a Workforce Planning Systems and Compliance Manager to join our professional and dynamic Workforce Management team


In this role, you will be reporting to the Group Workforce Planning Manager and be responsible for designing and implementing a system framework that ensures The Star's ability to meet regulatory compliance and operational requirements.


A key aspect involves utilising an Assurance, Compliance & Transformation team within Workforce Planning to adapt and improve workforce systems, to manage risk relevant to payroll/wage compliance and labour optimisation.

A permanent Full-time role at either our Sydney, Brisbane or Gold Coast locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage working programs to build controls and establish operational and management accountabilities related to wage compliance.
  • Lead, develop and implement new policies, standards and guidance for new technologies, new business and emerging regulations relating to Workforce Planning and Wage assurance.
  • Build organisational capability in compliance management by influencing and engaging across multiple departments to improve systems in wage and payroll.
  • Ensure the suite of products for Workforce Management (Virtual Roster, Time Manager, Pit Manager) are all maintained, including new releases or upgrades. This includes ensuring regular audits are completed timely in line with legislative & internal audit requirements.

What are we looking for?

  • Solid experience in Corporate Compliance and/or Assurance, with a focus on employee entitlement and industrial relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Workforce Planning principles and extensive experience with Workforce/Labour Systems.
  • Ability to set objectives and develop SOPs for wage, payroll and system compliance programs.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in making datadriven decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative, risk frameworks and regulations.
