About the Role

They are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join their team in St Leonards with the flexibility to work remotely from home.

This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.


Reporting to the Associate Director, Finance, you will be required to provide management accounting and commercial analysis for the non-emergency patient transport service provision across the state.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of performance reporting and monthly forecasting analytical models
  • Manage all General Ledger accounts, month end and year end processes for nominated divisions
  • Reconciliation of financial management reports
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Advisory and Commercial teams to establish financial plans, budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare responses to urgent requests for information
  • Provide analysis and commentary on business unit performance
  • Gather and collate data, generating evidence based reports, making recommendations to support decision making outcomes
  • Perform indepth analysis of transaction volume, trends and revenue drivers
  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating engagement, participation, collaboration and contribution of ideas
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of internal control frameworks
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of controls associated with revenue generation
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

About You

  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting or a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated Commercial Analyst, Management Accountant or Finance Business Partnering experience
  • CPA, ACCA or CA Qualifications
  • Advanced Excel skills and other financial modelling FP&A tools
  • Robust analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
