McNab has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our high-performing Team on the Gold Coast


This role will form part of a wider network of business support professionals across the McNab Group and will work closely with our Managers, in ensuring they are supported daily to effectively lead the office and team.

This role spans a wide range of duties from basic office requirements to high-level EA functions (the role will report to the Brisbane Executive Assistant who manages the Administrative Team).


You will be someone who proactively listens to needs and can think on their feet (often ahead of time) to create outcomes that ensure our managers' day is effortless.

You will enjoy interacting with all types of people and possess both an internal and external customer solutions approach.


No request will be too big or too small to ensure that the office needs are met and that both a professional and positive experience is maintained for all.

Ultimately, this also supports our brand promise of genuinely caring, whilst delivering certainty for those we interact with.

To provide an overview of the day-to-day, some tasks and requirements of the role include:

  • Ensuring a high level of stakeholder experience within the office by ensuring cleanliness, ordering supplies, assisting with pool cars, and other office support duties such as general clerical tasks, facilities, supplier management, financial reconciliations and coding

  • Listening to any requirements/areas of need and getting to know the team so that proactive support can be provided.
  • Assisting with work functions and events as required.
  • Running some personal errands or other adhoc support as required
  • Having previous EA experience or office management experience would be highly regarded for this role so you slot into our fastpaced and customerfocused environment even a passion for construction/building/property
  • High attention to detail around requirements and "what works" and "doesn't work" to ensure you can independently drive a result for the people you support.
  • Flexible, collaborative, solutionsfocused attitude we are a fun and energetic team who enjoy a laugh but help each other out so you can slot straight into this approach.
  • You will be the face of the office and will need to naturally align with our brand promise.
  • You will provide some overflow telephone support to our Office Administrators for incoming/outgoing office calls when required
  • Booking of travel, accommodation and oversight of pool cars (some fleet management required)

About you

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Superior time management and organisation skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • The ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with an ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
  • A flexible, collaborative, and solutionsfocused attitude _(we are a fun and energetic team that enjoy a laugh and helps each other out)_
