Job Description

Your New Role

We have multiple opportunities to join our exciting multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Health Knowledge Management (HKM) System. This capability will enable better clinical decision making for the ADF by providing market leading healthcare to ADF personnel and is a key capability and priority for the ADF.

To best inform development of the solution, a team of clinical specialists and advisors works closely with the solution design teams and the customer. Clinical Analysts provide expertise in contemporary clinical practices and applications, governance and/or informatics across primary care, dental, and pharmacy (for example). These roles liaise internally across the project teams, working with design teams, testing teams and in particular supporting the Training Team in the development and implementation of training for clinical end users. Clinical Analysts also support customer engagement regarding solution design, validation activities, and business process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Primary responsibility is the provision of clinical expertise to inform solution development that is fit for purpose for the clinical end users, leveraging knowledge in clinical applications and/or informatics
  • Support the design process, validation activities and application configuration
  • Support customer led business process change workshops
  • Provide specialist input into the development and review of training materials for clinical end users
  • Participate in training delivery to ensure clinically appropriate training for end users for the HKM System (Primary Care for Garrison) Operational Release 1 in 2024
  • Proactively engaging and liaising closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

  • Experience and qualifications in a clinical discipline and/or clinical informatics
  • Experience working on the design, implementation and rollout of clinical applications
  • Experience in developing and/or delivering training programs in a health environment and/or clinical information application context
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities
  • Ability to work and liaise with team remotely due to the organisational structure and the end user cohort being spread nation-wide.

Due to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold/be eligible to attain a Baseline security clearance with AGSVA and be capable of upgrading to a NV1 security clearance if required.
