About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Procurement Team.

In this role you will purchase, obtain and manage goods and services for Council and assist with providing a comprehensive and high-quality service to all internal and external customers.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Certificate IV in relevant qualification or extensive relevant experience.
  • Specialist knowledge and skills in Purchasing and Procurement
  • Thorough understanding and competence in Accounts Payable/Receivable, Contract Administration, Contract Law and Cost/Benefit Analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
