Brisbane Bayside Club which includes a casual dining area, bistro, multiple bars, gaming, entertainment, and function spaces.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting to the group manager, we require someone who can lead from the front in setting and maintaining high standards of operations & customer service of the venue.

Role:

  • Leading from the front you will develop, build, and mentor the team to deliver service excellence.
  • Accountability for the Day-to-Day operations of the business.
  • Maintain a vibrant atmosphere for members around the venue.
  • Manage financial controls as well as initiating and executing growth strategies to increase sales.
  • Develop service standards and implement new systems to improve efficiencies within the venue.
  • Effective and professional communication internally and externally.
  • Proactively drives team morale and promotes a productive environment.
  • Effective Stock management, reporting and controls.
  • Up Skilling and training of the team to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain hotel assets and coordinate maintenance requirements.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, developing and mentoring a team.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of gaming, food, and beverage.
  • Experience in managing entertainment and events.
  • Ability to work hands on in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OLGR, food safety and WH&S.
  • Hold a current RMLV and Approved Managers license.
  • Knowledge of latest systems to improve efficiencies within the venue.

Offer:

This role offers a salary remuneration package of $100k plus super plus incentives and will reward someone looking to showcase their experience and capabilities.
