About the Client
Rio Tinto Operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets.

These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure.

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

Ensure each stakeholder understands the process and adheres to it

Maintain an effective relationship with all stake holders

Accommodation Reports (forecast vs actual bookings by project)

Analyse and audit Utilisation; accommodation and flights, Accommodation Priority Outcomes and Forecasts, and Key process deliverables and results

Co-ordinate and manage meetings with relevant Sustaining Capital stakeholders.


Maintain the 'one stop; platform from where all stakeholders can view: Forecasts, accommodation availability; accommodation prioritisation outcomes; upcoming constraint periods; and accommodation report.

Escalate to the Advisor Mobilisation any emerging issues.

Ensure all stakeholders are following the process including lead time, data integrity, formats etc.

Escalate to the Advisor Mobilisation any non-conformance of the above


Other enquiries or tasks related to the data integrity of booking data in Rio Tinto?s booking system, forecasting and resulting constraints of flights and accommodation for Sustaining Capital Projects.

Skills and Experience

High attention to detail

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Advanced skills Excel

Forecasting experience (preferably in travel)
