What does the job look like?


We are searching for an energetic, capable, and high-performing Diversity and Inclusion Lead to play a critical role in shaping an inclusive, diverse, and safe workplace for our people.

At Linfox no two days are the same. This role requires a practical focus, agility, ability to influence at all levels and resilience.

Reporting to the Manager, Culture, Capability & People Experience, the role is accountable for:

  • Partnering with the business to implement the Linfox Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and Workplan
  • Ensure a Diversity and Inclusion lens is embedded throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Establishing baseline data of current practices and initiatives and understand focus areas
  • Seeking feedback through targeted employee focus groups to establish what good looks like, what's working well, and what can be improved
  • Embedding systems that identify and report on trends and patterns in diversity and inclusion issues within Linfox and develop strategies to mitigate potential workplace culture issues
  • Partnering with the HR Business Partners and their respective BU's and Functions to develop and implement diversity strategies to support shaping an inclusive culture across Linfox
  • Interpreting data, prepare reports to profile the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion programs, and provide recommendations for improvement to enable leaders to make decisions
  • Maintaining current SME knowledge in Diversity and Inclusion areas ensuring a good understanding of external and internal perspectives
  • Supporting Employee Resource Groups guiding them on strategy and supporting initiative delivery
  • Leading research projects into trends emerging from data and draw on national and international best practices to identify approaches and systems that best support an inclusive and diverse culture and business objectives with potential for adoption by Linfox.

You can demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and deliver through others via proven change management models
  • Proven experience in delivering diversity and inclusion strategies and actions in an operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in contemporary diversity and inclusion practices
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritise multiple projects across the enterprise
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to present and influence at senior levels
  • Tertiary Qualifications in human resources, diversity and inclusion or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing organisational programs across a national or international organization
  • Highly proficient in the use of technology for analysis, interpretation, and reporting purposes, with experience in MS Office Suite, HRIS (Success Factors) or similar and reporting tools
