**A Day in the Life
**Due to an internal promotion, our Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management portfolio has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to be based in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This role is a busy, diverse and highly stimulating position and one which offers the opportunity to truly make an immediate impact and achieve positive outcomes to patients' lives.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with implanters and all clinical stakeholders. Act as Medtronic's primary liaison and be the preferred partner/consultant for patient care
- Consistently achieve sales revenue targets for a specified territory, by promoting defined Medtronic products to key specialists and technical staff and through effective sales and service strategies
- Create and drive territory business plans identify and prioritise business opportunities, execute and drive execution externally and internally across different Functions and Business Units
- Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency
- Proactively drive current & future tenders/agreements/rebates affecting the territory and MDT internal processes & departments involved
- Encourage a team environment by providing support in other territories as needed and acting as a peer advisor to less experienced team members
- Participate in tech services support activities
- Access the key influencers and key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships with clinical stakeholders to identify opportunities and execute on account strategies
- Proactively manage and execute clinical service requirements across territories, effectively engaging the Clinical Specialists (CS's) and other CTM's where most appropriate
- Support clinical study activities in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager
- Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
- Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock
- Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven cardiac sales experience in medical devices industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting
- Strong clinical and business relationships with customers
- Advanced understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/ theatres / departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling and key influencers
- Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver's licence required
