In your role you will have an opportunity to:

  • Assist in skilling and mentoring clinical staff within our homes in their knowledge of the AN-ACC funding process.
  • Monitor changes in funding regulations, policies and guidelines and adapt strategies to optimise revenue while maintaining the appropriate resident case-mix to balance available care resources required to provide quality care outcomes for residents.
  • Update AN-ACC related documentation and processes inclusive of training material in line with legislative and guideline changes.
  • Support homes with regard to visits from an Assessment Management Organisation (AMO) to conduct assessments for AN-ACC classifications for residents.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and operations, highlighting key financial metrics, trends and areas of focus and improvement.
  • Engage with other key stakeholders to provide advice and assistance to meet AN-ACC funding (e.g. Allied Health staff, GP's).

What will you bring to the role?

  • Proven experience in clinical funding management within the residential aged care sector, including an in-depth knowledge of AN-ACC tools, AN-ACC funding guide and processes and relevant Aged Care legislation
  • Extensive experience in care assessment and care delivery documentation, supported by well-developed and contemporary clinical skills and knowledge
