Whitehorse City Council's premier leisure facilities are hiring customer focused gym instructors and personal trainers.

We have over 7000 members who appreciate a fully staff and serviced gym floor which includes complimentary program appointments and personal training.

Ongoing training and development is provided through an experienced and stable leadership team with opportunities for growth to leadership positions.


The role:


The position will provide a high level of customer service and fitness instruction in a safe and hygienic environment and in accordance with industry standards, to assist in the improvement of patron's health and wellbeing.


About you:

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Sound exercise prescription and consultation skills
  • An ability to demonstrate and coach patrons on safe exercise methods and techniques
  • Good oral and written communication skills to enable positive interaction with patrons and other employees
  • A friendly, enthusiastic and professional approach An availability to work early mornings, during the day, evenings and weekends highly desirable
