About this position
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Property Activation team at the City of Gosnells.


The position provides advice on planning and the development of community facilities in partnership with stakeholders to ensure the City's facilities meet the needs of the community.


The desired applicant should have experience in community and facility planning, consultation, financial management and possess strong written and interpersonal skills.


What we are looking for

To be successful you must have:

  • Experience in community and facility planning and or a similar role in Local Government or related field.
  • Experience in negotiating persuasively, anticipating and responding to needs, collaborating and networking, and tailoring communication to accommodate for different styles.
  • The ability to work effectively as a member of the team, exercising initiative and sound judgment to proactively contribute to the business unit.
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise competing demands.

Essential requirements

  • Current Police Clearance (less than three months old)
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Tertiary qualification in Professional/tertiary qualification in planning/project management/community development or a closely related field and/or extensive experience in a similar role in a planning/community development/project management role.
